Founder & CEO
Mayer Ngomesia brings a strategic and operational lens to mineral supply systems, translating geopolitical complexity into pragmatic, executable supply and infrastructure strategies. A former United Nations official, he leads Gatecorp’s strategic direction and day-to-day execution—structuring viable pathways from mineral access through midstream development to industrial alignment. With two decades of experience across mineral governance, industrial policy, and geopolitical strategy, Mayer has led engagements in over 37 countries across multiple international jurisdictions. Mayer holds an advanced degree from Duke University. His work bridges upstream structuring, institutional design, and jurisdictional integration—informing Gatecorp’s sourcing arbitrage model and jurisdictionally informed approach. Prior to founding Gatecorp, Mayer advised governments, multilaterals, and private capital on mineral frameworks, industrial systems, and supply chain strategies tied to national priorities. His experience across complex operating environments and high-stakes negotiations directly informs Gatecorp’s jurisdictional and structural sourcing arbitrage model. At Gatecorp, he leads the development of a distinctive midstream model—linking upstream access, fit-for-purpose midstream capability, and industrial deployment to deliver commercial and strategic outcomes.
