Controlled Supply Corridors

Gatecorp is advancing controlled supply corridors that organize and route underleveraged tantalum and tungsten supply to U.S. processors.

Our corridor work is structured around origination, execution and commercial structure.

Origination

We're engaged on the ground in selected jurisdictions assessed as viable where underleveraged supply exists in sufficient volume, routing can be secured and controlled, and commercial structuring is achievable.

We're starting with the DRC–Rwanda–Uganda corridor. Additional jurisdictions are under evaluation.

Execution

Gatecorp is establishing operational nodes across the corridor, where dispersed material is aggregated, prepared to physical specification and verified for content before it moves. Tantalum and tungsten are managed as parallel streams through a common operating footprint, with material routed toward U.S. processing with documented origin and material continuity. This is designed to support processor qualification and applicable U.S. origin requirements, including DFARS.

We’re assessing corridor conditions, identifying prospective counterparties and mapping export routes while developing upstream relationships and working with U.S. tungsten and tantalum processors on specifications, qualification requirements and offtake structure.

Commercial Structure

Existing networks already aggregate and trade this material, but they do not necessarily direct it to U.S. industry. Gatecorp's controlled supply corridors create the commercial structure that does.

Upstream, Gatecorp is working directly with producers, aggregators and exporters to secure material under commercial agreements that incorporate specification, verification and routing requirements.

Downstream, Gatecorp's business is anchored by U.S.-exclusive offtake. Material entering the corridor is commercially committed to U.S. industry before it moves. Between the two, Gatecorp secures and controls the route.

Core Capabilities
Six functions define how material moves through our controlled supply corridor.

01

Aggregation

Consolidating dispersed production into commercially meaningful volume.

02

Conditioning

Preparing and assembling material into consistent lots that meet processor specifications.

03

Grade Verification

Establishing and documenting content before material moves.

04

Material Provenance

Documenting material origin and movement to meet processor and U.S. regulatory requirements.

05

Routing

Securing and controlling the physical and commercial path to the processor.

06

Commercial Control

Securing the offtake and governing the terms under which material moves.

Investment Logic

Investment in our controlled supply corridors concentrates where it creates control: aggregation, routing and commercial control.

The same logic applies across fragmented production, industrial mine output and secondary sources.

  • Conditioning, grade verification and material provenance prepare material to meet processor qualification requirements.

  • Aggregation, routing and commercial control establish control over the supply.

  • Aggregated material that cannot be verified will not qualify. Verified material without secured routing does not arrive. Secured routing without commercial control leaves the supply available to whoever holds the offtake.
